This is the date. Be at Jane and Brendan's restaurant in Gilford!
More information to come.
Hey GMHS Class of 79!
This August 2004 we're celebrating our 25th Reunion and would like to invite you and your family to join us!
First, we're planning an evening get-together Friday, August 6th at Jane and Brendan Connelly's restaurant, The Victorian House. Things get under way at 6pm. Brendan will be preparing a variety of appetizers for us to sample. We guarantee you will not leave hungry! Dress is casual and comfy. Stay as late as you like, or whenever Brendan tosses you out! The Victorian House is located at 2645 Lakeshore Road on Route 11, just up the hill From Ellacoya State Park, and right across the street from the Connelly clan homestead. Use the contact form to request further information.
Then on Saturday, August 7th, please meet us for a family day at Ellacoya State Park. We're thinking it'd be easiest for everyone to bring their own picnic supplies, and if someone wants to bring game stuff like a volleyball net, that'd be boffo! Day use for the park is $3 per person; children 11 and under are admitted free of charge. The park frowns on pets, but has no problem whatsoever with alcohol. For more information, check out http://www.nhstateparks.org/ParksPages/Ellacoya/Ellacoya.html.
If you'd like to attend the reunion, please RSVP ASAP! The cost is $25 per person, and you can pay by check or money order, payable to "GHS Class of 1979."
Please use the contact form to request an address to which you may RSVP.
Greetings!
Get your calendars out. The date for our 25th Reunion has been set for Friday, August 6, 2004. With this amount of notice you won't have an excuse to miss this opportunity to check out your old high school friends and allow them to check you out.
This is just a quick notice so you can plan ahead. More details about the actual schedule and costs will follow. The planning committee comprised of Geoff Martin, Jane Connelly and myself (there are more spots on this committee if you want to help out) is thinking that the Friday evening gathering will be informal with appetizers and music. Brendan and Jane (Guild) Connelly have offered to host the festivities at their restaurant. More specifics than that have not been figured out yet. So, if you have any ideas or suggestions about the gathering please feel free to share them with us.
The biggest challenge will be locating all of our classmates.
If you've found us but we haven't contacted you, let us know you're out there. Add a comment below and plug your email address into it. (Don't worry, it won't be published on the page--it will just get added to our databse.)
Pass the word around.
Thanks!
